Theoretically or broadly, the cartridge filters and carbon blocks / granules require replacements once in every six months or after consumption of 3000 litres (whichever is earlier) and the membrane may need a replacement once in a year. The candle that performs more crucial actions of killing the germs and other impurities should be replaced in every two months.
How do we get service and spare / consumables for water purifiers?
Any purifier is either serviced by the Company’s service technicians directly or by the service technicians of the Company’s authorized franchisees. These technicians visit the place of installation and supply / replace the required consumables at prices prevalent at the time of supply.
Can the purifier be opened or serviced by the consumer themselves?
Under no circumstances, such a thing should be done. Servicing a water purifier is a specialist job and is done by technicians trained to do it by the companies. Taking the process in your own hands might affect the system or your health in the long run; making the situation worse.
